Curricular internship for thesis

The textile archive of the Parisian gallery Le Cachemirien, located in L’OFFICINA, has been opened to students of the Faculty of Archives and Library Science of the University of Bologna thanks to the collaboration with Professor Elisa Tosi Brandi, professor of history and cultural heritage of fashion and of Corporate Archives of fashion. Tatiana Ruizzo, graduated in book and document sciences after completing a 450-hour internship in residence with us, studying the material and creating the catalog of a part of the archive. Her master’s thesis obtained a grade of 110 cum laude.

Le Cachemirien’s archive, when beauty is a form of resistance to the world’s fury

Rosenda Arcioni Meer has shared her twenty-year experience in the field of textile art and creativity, at the professions forum that took place in Ravenna within the cycle “di carte, di libri e dintorni”. 

While Tatiana Ruizzo intervention focused on the study of Le Cachemirien’s archive and the multiple dimensions it entails. Because at L’OFFICINA we care a lot about the transmission and training of professionalism in the field of culture, we are glad to collaborate with universities.
